Extension troubleshooting

If you're having issues with the Avenida extension, here are the most common solutions.

The extension doesn't detect the product

Info

Not all online stores structure their information the same way. If the extension doesn't detect a product, you can add it manually by pasting the URL in the web app.

Try the following:

  1. Make sure you're on the product page (not a listing or category page)
  2. Wait for the page to load completely
  3. Reload the page and try again
  4. If it still doesn't work, copy the URL and paste it in the web app

I can't sign in to the extension

Check your connection

Make sure you have an internet connection.

Clear the extension cache

Right-click the Avenida icon → Manage extensionClear data.

Try again

Close and reopen the extension popup.

The price is incorrect

The extracted price may vary if:

  • The store displays dynamic discount prices
  • The price changes based on your location or session
  • The page uses JavaScript to load the price after the initial page load
Tip
You can always edit the price manually from the web app.

The extension was disabled automatically

Browsers may disable extensions after an update. To re-enable it:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions (Chrome) or about:addons (Firefox)
  2. Find Avenida
  3. Toggle it on
